About SOAIR

SOAIR, developer of Collie, is a research and development company started by Dr. James Sabatier in October 2006.

The main focus of SOAIR is to create applications for acoustic technology, building on Dr. Sabatier's 30-year career in acoustic science as a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Mississippi (UM).

Sonar and other acoustic technologies have so far been vastly underutilized despite having a tremendously broad range of applications in countless disparate industries. The promise of SOAIR is to make those applications a reality, one project at a time.

Dr. James Sabatier, Founder and CEO Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Mississippi, Dr. Sabatier invented Collie and holds the exclusive right to license his technology from the University of Mississippi. He is a renowned expert in physical acoustics and shares his time between overseeing Collie’s development and consulting for the U.S. Department of Defense and its allied partners.

John Rogers, COO Mr. Rogers is the primary driver of Collie’s development as a commercial product. He holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, an mDiv from Emory University, and has extensive experience as an entrepreneur in the US and West Africa.

Jeremy Webster, Research Engineer Mr. Webster leads signal processing and algorithm development at Collie. He has over 20 years of physical acoustics research experience at the National Center for Physical Acoustics at the University of Mississippi and holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Mississippi.

Jack Bellows, Advisor Mr. Bellows has 20 years of experience in investment banking and has 13 years of experience in the healthcare field, including inventing a digital vision screening device and obtaining FDA approvals and CPT codes for reimbursement. Mr. Bellows brings his experience developing, funding, and marketing medical devices to the Collie Home Health team.
